jean germain ~ fine art photographer

Jean Germain began her career as an artist after retiring from teaching in elementary schools. Her images have been published in magazines and newspapers as well as hanging in private and public collections. She was a founding member of The Jazz Club of Sarasota Florida, and as the "official photographer" spent a quarter century taking pictures of the yearly performances. That body of work became a book, Jazz From Row Six, published in 2009.

She divides her time between Sarasota, Florida, and Monterey, Massachusetts.
